IT’S TIME TO LIGHT THE NIGHT!

Emmanuel Fellowship Church in Sweetwater will host their annual Light the Night fall festival this Sunday, October 28, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.  You are invited to join us for an evening of fun for the whole family.  This friendly and safe alternative to Halloween will feature games and prizes in the main church building as well as outside activities including air castles, hay rides, and a tight rope circus performance. 

All of the activities for the evening are free.  A concession stand will also be available for those who would like to purchase a meal.

Emmanuel Fellowship Church is located at 1418 Hailey Street in Sweetwater, Texas.  Light the Night is always a packed event with hundreds of children and their parents enjoying the evening.  Make plans to arrive early so your children can enjoy all Light the Night has to offer.  Follow the signs to our Kid’s Space entrance where you will receive your welcome bag and free tickets for all of the fun activities.

A SOCIAL NETWORK CHRISTMAS

The birth of our Savior is a timeless and beautiful story.  I was astounded by this retelling of the Nativity through the lens of social networking.  May you be blessed as you pause to consider the courageous faith of Joseph and Mary as they took part in the greatest miracle in history, when the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.

• Sunday, December 25: Christmas Day!  —-No Church Services—-
• Sunday, January 1 @11:00 am: New Year’s Day Service with fellowship meal and football to follow!
• Wednesday, January 4: Baptism Service at First Christian Church at 7:00 p.m.

LIGHT THE NIGHT!

Emmanuel Fellowship is excited to host a Light the Night festival Sunday, October 30, 2011.  This amazing evening will run from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and offer games and fun for children of all ages.

Everyone is invited to wear friendly costumes and participate in the games, prizes, face painting, and jumpy castle adventures.  As a very special addition, we are thrilled to host Fletcher Runyan, a trained circus acrobat, as he performs stunts and a low wire exhibition at 6:15, 6:45, 7:15, and 7:45 pm in the church parking lot!
